Dear food critics and connoisseurs, the results are in. El Celler de Can Roca in Spain (which was number 2 last year) has been rewarded as the world’s best new gastronomic destination, according to the much-anticipated annual list of the World’s 50 Best restaurants, just announced at an award ceremony in London.
El Celler de Can Roca knocked Danish four-time winner Noma down to third place, with Italy’s Osteria Francescana taking the second spot.
Among the top 10 winners are restaurants like Eleven Madison Park, in New York, and Central, in Peru, which falls from the first to third place.
