Aston Martin sure knows how to surprise its owners; in 2010 the company will be releasing two limited editions of its already very popular DBS and V12 Vantage models. The first thing you will notice on the new models is the Carbon Black metallic paint; a paint so unique in its style that it’s guaranteed to make heads turn on any upscale shopping streets. Each vehicle will be hand painted in Carbon Black metallic, with Obsidian Black leather and silver stitching used on the interior. Carbon fiber and Kevlar seats shave 17 kilograms off the overall weight.

Other features include a new bright finished grille, piano black dashboards and center consoles, 10 spoke diamond turned alloy wheels, standard front parking sensors and exterior detailing. Audio in the V12 Vantage is a 700w premium system, which we rate as the best standard fit in car audio system we have heard in 2009, while the DBS features the incomparable Bang & Olufsen Beosound DBS system as standard kit. There isn’t much of an innovation on the new models, but sometimes less is more. Aston Martin understands it very well. The new Carbon Black models have a lot of character; each car will require an incredible 50 man-hours of hand painting with stringent quality control to ensure a perfect finish. It’s a fashion statement with a great designer bespoke look!

If you’re the proud owner of any Aston Martin, this is a great addition to your collection.
And for first time buyer, let’s put it this way: it is hard to go wrong with an Aston Martin Carbon Black limited editions whether it’s a V12 Vantage or a DBS. We highly recommend it!

The new models are available for order directly from the Aston Martin dealership worldwide; however, final pricing of the Carbon Black models will be announced in January 2010 with deliveries to start around March 2010. Enjoy the lovely Aston Martin Carbon Black pictures.
