The Principality of Monaco is getting ready to host one of the most popular Formula 1 events of the year: The Monaco Grand Prix. Indeed, this Grand Prix is the most eagerly awaited of all the races because it attracts among the drivers that we all know, an impressive list of celebrities and high personalities. The race is being considered “the jewel of the Formula One crown”.

The circuit takes in Casino Square and passes by the renowned Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo, making it one of the most recognizable hotels in the world. The Monaco Grand Prix is 78 laps on a 3.340 km (2.075 mi) circuit, which races around the narrow, winding streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine, which includes the famous harbour. With many elevation changes and tight corners as well as a tunnel, it is without a doubt, one of the most demanding tracks in Formula One. The Grand Prix is very unique in having been held on the same circuit every time it has been run over such a long period. The Circuit de Monaco is one of the most exciting in the world, with little room for driver error.
