Woodford Reserve, a whiskey line out of Kentucky is generally known for making reasonably priced bourbon that can be sipped on its own or used in any classic whiskey cocktail. But this expensive Baccarat Edition is definitely made for sipping, not mixing. It’s classic Woodford bourbon that is aged for an additional three years in XO cognac casks and bottled in a stunning Baccarat crystal decanter. This type of treatment, normally reserved for Scotch whisky and French cognac is something of a first for the American whiskey category.
The bottle design of this decanter is said to “evoke the iconic Woodford Reserve bottle silhouette and is engraved with both Woodford Reserve’s and Baccarat iconic logos.” Price starting at USD 2,000.
