Called on to interpret Veuve Clicquot’s premium cuvée, La Grande Dame, celebrated Japanese contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama creates a limited-edition sculpture with flowers, polka dots and a message of hope. More than 150 years separate Madame Clicquot and Yayoi Kusama, and yet it is almost as many common points that unite their unique and fascinating destinies.

Yayoi Kusama adorns the La Grande Dame 2012 case and bottle with her iconic symbols. The opulent flower symbolizes vital energy, love and celebration of life. The polka dots, Yayoi Kusama’s signature patterns, are reworked like champagne bubbles to embody La Grande Dame 2012.

The partnership features an eye-catching Kusama-designed gift box for La Grande Dame 2012 Champagne priced at USD 195. The sculpture which is titled My Heart That Blooms in the Darkness of Night , limited to only 100 pieces, is priced at USD 36,000 and is only available upon request.
