The Balmoral, a Rocco Forte Hotel, has launched its Royal Military Tattoo Suite Experience for August 2019. Celebrating two iconic Edinburgh institutions, the experience includes a stay in one of the hotel’s signature suites, including the newly refurbished royal suites – The Scone & Crombie and The Glamis – and coveted seats at one of world’s most famous military performances.
Rooted in Scottish tradition, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo – or Edinburgh Tattoo as it is known locally – is a 1 hour 40 minute extravaganza showcasing talents from every corner of the globe. Music, dance, precision displays from The Massed Pipes and Drums, Military Bands, cultural troupes and singers combine to create a visual spectacle on Edinburgh Castle’s esplanade. Every year the tattoo embraces a theme, with 2019 promising the bold colors and light of its namesake Kaleidoscope, but each night the notes from the Lone Piper standing against the city’s skyline bring the firework finale to a striking end.
The Balmoral’s Royal Military Tattoo Suite Experience is aimed at introducing guests to the very best of Scotland.
